The UX/UI Designer is a crucial role to the creative success of the agency. The ideal candidate is someone who is both creatively minded and has a logical approach to projects. We want a hybrid designer, who is passionate, self-motivated, can manage their time effectively, while also being flexible and able to juggle multiple projects, keeping a high attention to detail.
You will be required to prepare and confidently present your solutions to clients or internal teams and successfully convey the concept and the data/research rationale that supports it.
Choosing specific research techniques (quantitative or qualitative) per project not for the sake of research but to uncover the correct type of data and insights that are in-line with solving the particular design problems faced or to reveal the true direction a project should take.
Who are we after?
Someone who understands UX fundamentals and can produce basic wireframes and present their ideas clearly, but can also execute beautiful visuals and UI components with a conceptual approach.
The ideal candidate would have their finger on the pulse with the latest design and technology trends and be able to use these in a constructive and focused way.
An ability to understand user needs, motivations, behaviours and translate them into actionable deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Mid-level designer with 5 years+ experience
- Understanding of design application to mobile devices
- In depth knowledge of UX fundamentals
- High design intellect and be able to clearly rationalise design choices and prove they can solve complex problems in a creative and visually impactful way
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the tools (Adobe creative suite and Sketch). Wire framing and prototype tools would be a bonus (Axure and invision for example)
- Technical understanding of front end development, knowing what experiences are possible with current resources and technologies
- General design, technical, production and client support for the Clemenger Touchcast team
