ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Business Manager, you will play a central role delivering account service excellence across Clemenger BBDO clients. You will be integral in managing projects and orchestrating the client team, to achieve shared business goals and objectives, as part of the delivery of the account strategy.
SKILLS
- Strong experience (3+ years) in managing key client stakeholders and working within a complex internal organizational structure.
- Strong experience in media finance including use of SMD.
- Experience in management of Media Partners, including briefing, plan adjustments and budget management.
- Communication is essential, both written and oral.
- Attention to detail. A pair of hands clients can trust.
- Solid judgement. Arriving at the right decision when the circumstances are less than clear.
- Expertise in contributing to and managing comprehensive media plans.
- Quality assurance to maintain exacting standards across all deliverables.
- An analytical mindset to evaluate campaign performance and guide decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Leadership and Management:
- Be the primary communication point (through meetings, digital communications) with key client stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of media recommendations which will involve providing recommendations on the channels, budgets and channel ideas that best suit the client's business goals.
- Leading the scheduling, prepping for meetings, and organising the teams to ensure they are meeting relevant timelines for the delivery of recommendations, media plans, buying and reporting of media results achieved.
- Navigate and be the key escalation person to help manage any issues the client may have with the campaigns or quality of output of the agency.
Client Relationship:
- Build client trust through having a thorough understanding of the business, marketing, and media objectives of the clients you service.
- Oversee the team's quality of work that is shared with the client, which includes the presentations, responses, and attention to detail in spreadsheets shared.
- Demonstrates passion and a high standard of client service which includes timely communications, clear and consistent communications and managing expectations on the media deliverables.
Project Management:
- Meeting management (agendas, guide meeting discussion, diary management, next steps, contact reports, follow up requests).
- Communication – Clarify and clearly articulate projects, fill gaps and work with all areas of the business to close the loop on campaigns.
- Team WIPs (agendas, tracking documents, escalation points).
- Scope of work document creation.
- Project management (including timelines, RASCI).
- Owner of consistent learnings, measurement, and business goals.
Finance:
- Monthly invoicing - process management, accuracy, coordination of Client nuances.
- Ensure processes are in place and followed.
Profitability:
- Tracking and optimising client profitability (job numbers/ timesheets/ head hour burn).
Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $83,000 + Super
