Job Description
Clemenger BBDO is looking for a Digital Manager (Ad Ops) to join our media team in Sydney.
As a Digital Manager (Ad Ops), you will be charged with the day-to-day function of the Ad Ops team through management of the ad server, maintaining data integrity across the ad server & buying platform architecture, support the wider media team's interactions with Ad Ops to activate digital campaigns, and lead a small team of Ad Ops coordinators & support their progression in digital literacy.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret digital media briefings from the media team and set up accordingly, whilst QAing the briefing to ensure campaigns are set up correctly.
- Work with media and creative account service to ingest creatives into the ad server and other platforms, maintaining adherence to each publisher's specs requirements and brand policies.
- Ensure accuracy of work, both your own and that of your team, before completing campaign set up and sending any material externally.
- Maintain strict taxonomy & data entry control.
- Maintain brand safety and verification solutions for applicable clients.
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise around delivery discrepancies, creative issues, tag/tracking malfunctions, etc.
- Provide general support for platform related technical issues.
- Provide reporting and project support at the request of the Digital Director.
- Regularly consult with the Digital Director to discuss operational performance and work together to identify any opportunities for improvement.
- Along with the Digital Executive and Digital Coordinator, assist with monthly ad serving invoicing
Skills and experience:
Must have
- Strong experience (3+ years) in an ad operations function – preferably in an agency environment.
- Strong experience (2+ years) on CM360 trafficking
- Solid understanding of digital video, display, social and rich media formats and their specs.
- Test & evaluate/troubleshooting skills for solving various digital issues, including for creative, tags, trackers, and floodlight.
- Exemplary attention to detail for maintaining data integrity, particularly in large data sets.
Other skills
- Exposure to key digital platforms – GMP DV360, Google Ads, Amazon, Meta, TikTok, DoubleVerify, among others a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of digital media ecosystem and campaign types – Direct IO, PMP, Programmatic Guaranteed
- Keen interest in technology and digital media.
- Knowledge of media finance including use of SMD.
- Professional written and oral communication between all stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate best-approach to campaign management.
