Job Description
Clemenger BBDO are looking for an Account Executive to join the Melbourne team!
About you:
You embrace the disproportionate difficulty of solving complex problems. You are comfortable with discomfort. While many define creativity as a solution to marketing problems, you understand creativity can solve any problem, starting with defining the right one.
You are the ultimate collaborator and connector. Inspiring others to do their best work, being present for our clients, bringing strategic and commercial thinking to every opportunity with an open, agnostic mind.
You do this with humanity, honesty, and integrity. Client satisfaction remains our number one priority, balancing flawless delivery with enduring inspiration.
Our focus is on taking creativity to places it has never been before. You will celebrate great work inside our walls, and beyond them.
Creativity needs a champion. That champion is you.
An Account Executive has several responsibilities including: Client Management/Involvement; Commercial accountability; and Product/Creative Output.
Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day client communications across active jobs, keeping stakeholders informed, responses timely and next steps clear.
- Maintaining and updates WIP documents, job trackers and status reports so the team always have an accurate picture of what's in flight.
- Coordinating meetings end-to-end including scheduling, preparation of any materials, note-taking and contact report distribution.
- Supporting campaign delivery by setting up job folders, raising job numbers, preparing briefs and filing assets accurately and on time.
- Monitoring timelines and project progress across internal teams, flagging risks early and escalating to the relevant senior (ie. Account Manager / Account Director).
- Developing working knowledge of financial processes, supporting estimates, budgets, purchase orders and reconciliations.
- Conducting competitor and category research, maintaining awareness of industry trends and sharing relevant insights with the team.
- Managing simple, templated projects with guidance, progressing towards independent ownership over time.
- Is naturally curious. Interested in how every department within the agency works, where they can provide the greatest value, and how we can best support the ambitions of our clients.
We are all about creating ideas of value, through enduring, progressive and pioneering methods, for sustainable, disproportionate and extraordinary outcomes for the country's most culturally significant brands in the image of humanity.
Please note: All applicants must have valid Australian working rights.
