CHE Proximity Melbourne are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to assist with responsive web builds, landing pages, eDMs and banners. You will be working in a team of creative technologists and shown the ropes on how a Digital agency works.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE JUNIOR FRONTEND DEVELOPER:
o Attend internal or client meetings to take eDM briefs
o Partner with Designers and Producers to plan the approach for delivering the eDM campaign
o To design and build EDMs and static landing pages.
o To deliver the EDM campaigns and projects that follow CHE principles and best practise in EDM creation and distribution.
o Partner with designers, developers, producers, testers and UX/UI specialists to deliver a range of best in class digital projects.
o Be an ongoing source for industry trends, thinking and production methodologies helping to educate and inspire the agency, and when required, clients
HOW WILL WE KNOW YOU ARE THE ONE
o You will have a great eye for design and working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign etc
o You will have a willingness to learn and be an aspiring Frontend Developer
o You will be outgoing, ask questions, share ideas and be a team player
THE TECHNOLOGY WE USE:
o Understanding of the limitations of EDMs across devices, platforms and email clients
o Responsive and dynamic EDMs and static landing pages for all devices, platforms and email clients
o EDM testing tools (Email On Acid, Litmus, cross-browser, Windows VMs)
o HTML testing tools (VMs, BrowserStack)
o Photoshop to slice design files and crop/resize assets
o Basic dynamic content functionality
o Email platforms (Adobe Campaign, ExactTarget, Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, Responsys, Taguchi)
