We're looking for a Group Performance Director to join our Melbourne team on a permanent basis. If you're an expert in digital performance media, a true people leader, and thrive in fast-paced, creatively-driven environments — we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

As Group Performance Director, you'll lead multiple performance media teams across a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll be responsible for elevating our digital offering, driving operational excellence, and shaping our agency's culture of learning and innovation.

You'll have the autonomy to lead at scale, while being supported by a collaborative leadership team, best-in-class technology, and a client roster that includes some of Australia's most recognisable brands.

This role is hands-on, high-impact, and perfect for someone who thrives on complexity, pace, and progress.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and mentor high-performing teams across programmatic, paid search, and data-led media strategy
• Build trusted relationships with senior clients as a digital partner and problem-solver
• Drive performance, innovation, and efficiency across campaigns and internal processes
• Develop and upskill team talent, fostering both technical expertise and creative confidence
• Champion a culture of collaboration between media, creative, and data teams
• Identify growth opportunities and shape how Clemenger BBDO delivers best-in-class digital work
• Guide operational and strategic performance across key platforms (DV360, Google Ads, SA360, TTD, GA4, Campaign Manager, etc.)

What We're Looking For

• A proven leader in digital media with experience overseeing multi-client portfolios and large teams
• Hands-on expertise across platforms like DV360, SA360, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, and GA4
• Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to think commercially and act strategically
• Clear, persuasive communication — with clients, teams, and partners
• Deep knowledge of media trends, ad tech, and the changing performance landscape
• A mindset that values curiosity, mentorship, accountability — and knows when to push for better
